Hello!
I'm Jolene Lee (b. 2000), a Millennial trapped in the body of a Gen Z. I listen to Never Gonna Give You Up unironically, but I also send Instagram Reels of the song to rickroll people. Hehe.
I'm currently a Social Media Content Producer at a creative agency and wear multiple hats in this role. I'm a video producer, video editor, ad-hoc designer, part-time videographer, hobbyist photographer, occasional copywriter and full-time ideating machine, all at once.
Upon graduating from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Creative Writing for Television and New Media in 2020, I went on to pursue a Specialist Diploma in Digital Content Marketing in 2023.
I chase after the feeling of fulfilment and achievement I get every time I complete a task. It helps me want to achieve perfection every time and ensure I only produce works I am proud of.
The part-time jobs I took up when I was studying taught me to be observant, constantly think on my feet and juggle multiple tasks well. These lessons shaped my work ethic. I now carry these values into the working world.
I can work independently but there is nothing I enjoy more than working in a team with people on the same wavelength. It feels like pure bliss to bounce ideas off a bunch of people who just get it. I like taking actionable, constructive feedback as it helps me have a better understanding on how I can improve myself.
I'm a geek through and through. I'm a Marvel fan, a BTS fan, a true crime fan, a gamer and a collector of tattoos, blind boxes and Funko Pops!. I would be thrilled to show off my collections at any time. I'm lucky to have married a fellow geek, and we hunt for new collectibles together.
My past experiences and choices taught me to take things in my stride and not compare myself to others' progress.
